The NovaStar TB60 Dual-Wi-Fi Multimedia Player is a state-of-the-art HD multimedia player designed for full-color LED displays, representing the third generation of NovaStar’s advanced multimedia solutions. Combining both playback and sending capabilities, the TB60 allows users to publish content and control LED displays seamlessly from a PC, smartphone, or tablet. As the successor to the TB8, it sets a new benchmark in its class for performance, reliability, and ease of use. The TB60 supports a loading capacity of up to 2,300,000 pixels, offers a powerful quad-core ARM A55 processor running at 1.8 GHz, and provides a versatile synchronization mechanism for multi-screen playback, ensuring smooth and high-quality visual performance across a variety of display setups.
Designed for intelligent control, the TB60 is highly suited for commercial LED displays and smart city applications. Its reliability and user-friendly operation make it an ideal choice for a wide range of display scenarios, including fixed LED displays, lamp-post displays, chain store signage, advertisement boards, mirror displays, retail store setups, door head displays, and shelf displays. With NovaStar’s cloud-based publishing and monitoring platform, users can manage LED displays remotely from any internet-connected device, allowing real-time content updates and display monitoring from virtually anywhere.
The TB60 supports comprehensive all-round control plans, enabling content publishing and screen management from computers, tablets, and smartphones. It also allows seamless switching between Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) mode, where the TB60 generates its own Wi-Fi hotspot, and Wi-Fi Station (STA) mode, connecting through a router’s Wi-Fi network. Additionally, the device supports synchronous and asynchronous playback modes, allowing internal video sources to run independently in asynchronous mode, while HDMI input sources can drive synchronous playback. Multi-screen synchronization is facilitated through both NTP time synchronization and GPS time synchronization, with 4G module support available for enhanced connectivity, although these modules are sold separately.
Connectivity options on the TB60 are extensive, catering to complex and demanding LED setups. The player is equipped with a SIM card slot, USB 3.0 Type-A port, dual Gigabit Ethernet outputs dedicated to LED connections, dual sensor connections for brightness, temperature, or humidity sensors, HDMI 1.4 input and output connectors, a Wi-Fi antenna connector, an additional Gigabit Ethernet port for LAN or PC connection, dual GPS/4G antenna connectors, and an audio output port. For video output, the TB60 supports a maximum display width and height of 4096 pixels, four Gigabit Ethernet ports with configurable primary and backup roles, a stereo audio connector with flexible sample rate support, and HDMI output at up to 1080p at 60Hz, including loop-through capabilities. Video input through HDMI can be automatically scaled to fit the full screen, while sensor inputs allow integration with environmental monitoring devices.
The TB60 also provides intelligent network management, automatically prioritizing connections in the order of wired network, Wi-Fi, and 4G, choosing the strongest signal available. Its onboard storage of 16 GB and 1 GB of RAM support smooth 4K video playback or dual 1080p playback, enabling high-performance multimedia display with minimal latency. With its powerful processing capabilities, flexible control options, and seamless connectivity, the NovaStar TB60 Dual-Wi-Fi Multimedia Player is a highly reliable, intelligent, and versatile solution for modern LED display applications, from retail and advertising to smart city infrastructure.
