CSL GyroShift™ 1- to 4-Light Multiples integrate the patented GyroShift™ optic system into multiple-head recessed downlight fixtures engineered for shallow plenum installations as low as 3½ inches. Each head remains fixed while its individual optic independently rotates and tilts up to 45 degrees, allowing precise control for crisp accenting, broad washes, and tailored light across multiple directions. The innovative bezel-and-ball mechanism enables rotation of the spring-loaded optic separate from the light source, eliminating trim cutoff and producing a perfectly round beam with superior control. This design maintains a refined, seamless ceiling appearance, even when the heads have been repositioned.
The LED light engine employs high-quality LEDs selected with 2 SDCM binning, ensuring consistent color quality and longevity with a rated lifetime of over 50,000 hours. Color temperatures are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and warm dim configurations, with static white CRI at 90+ and warm dim at 98+ CRI. The system delivers up to 6,426 lumens, with module output up to 1,664 lumens per head, achieving efficacy up to 99 lumens per watt. Optics are field-changeable across 10°, 30°, and 50° beam spreads, with optional media including clear, Solite, frosted, linear spread, hex louver, and wall wash, allowing precise tailoring of light distribution for any application.
GyroShift Multiples accommodate both general and accent lighting needs. The modular design allows for up to four independently controlled heads, with standard configurations including one to four linear heads and a four-head square layout. Integral drivers are serviceable from below the ceiling, with optional remote driver configurations. Dimming options include TRIAC, ELV, 0-10VDC, and compatibility with Lutron Homeworks/Ecosystem systems. For enhanced control, individual head operation is possible through DMX configuration, providing flexibility for sophisticated lighting designs.
The fixtures offer a versatile range of trim and housing options to suit varied architectural applications. Aperture sizes include 2-inch and 3-inch downlights, with round trims available in standard, trimless, and wood ceiling styles. Trim colors include white, black, champagne, or custom finishes, with interior trim options in white, black, champagne, satin aluminum, or custom colors. The housing includes galvanized steel adjustable hanger bars and butterfly brackets, supporting installation in drywall, T-bar grid, wood, and millwork ceilings. Each unit incorporates a steel junction box with four ½-inch knockouts and requires a minimum plenum height of 3½ inches. All models are air-tight, CCEA (Chicago Plenum) approved, and IC rated.
