The Meteo Sensor is a precision environmental monitoring device designed to measure air temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. It transmits this data seamlessly to the QULON control system, enabling accurate environmental monitoring and integration with broader system management. The sensor supports all-in-one measurement functionality, providing reliable and high-accuracy readings in a compact unit suitable for a variety of installations.
Data communication with the control system is achieved via an RS-485 interface using the Modbus-RTU protocol. Measurements from the sensor are transmitted through a connected Luminance Sensor or cabinet controllers, ensuring consistent and centralized data flow within the control network. The device supports RS-485 line lengths of up to 1,500 meters, allowing flexible placement across extensive outdoor or industrial areas. Configuration and calibration are performed remotely through the Luminance Sensor or cabinet controllers, removing the need for on-site adjustments and streamlining installation and maintenance.
The Meteo Sensor is powered by a 10–48 V DC supply, consuming a maximum of 5 W, making it suitable for integration into a wide range of low-voltage systems. Its durable housing combines metal and plastic construction to provide both structural strength and environmental protection. The device is rated IP66, ensuring resistance to dust and water, while enabling operation under extreme conditions with temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and relative humidity up to 100 percent. For storage, the sensor tolerates temperatures from -50 to +80°C. The unit is CE compliant, RoHS certified, and backed by a 36-month warranty, underscoring its reliability and adherence to international quality standards.
Mechanically, the Meteo Sensor is compact and lightweight, measuring 111.5 mm in length, 35 mm in height, and 58 mm in width, with a mass of just 0.2 kg. The sensor can be mounted on poles or other surfaces using specially designed brackets and can also be installed within protective covers for additional safeguarding in challenging outdoor environments. Electrical connections are made through either screw terminals or SAC 5P connectors, supporting secure and stable connectivity across installations. The unit’s plastic waterproof casing ensures long-term durability, while its compact design allows for easy integration into a wide variety of environmental monitoring setups.
The package includes the Meteo Sensor, ready for installation and integration into the QULON control system, providing a reliable solution for accurate, all-in-one atmospheric measurement.
