The Wire GSM Node is a wireless street lighting controller for individual luminaire control, diagnostics, and dimming, supporting 2G, 4G, and NB-IoT communication protocols. The unit enables seamless integration into modern smart city street lighting systems, allowing each luminaire to be monitored and controlled independently. Data exchange between the Wire GSM Node and the central server is performed via cellular networks, providing reliable connectivity for remote management and configuration.

The Wire GSM Node supports multiple luminaire control interfaces, including DALI, DALI 2.0, PWM, 1-10V, and 0-10V, allowing compatibility with a wide range of LED fixtures. Each luminaire can be controlled using the unit’s embedded daylight sensor or a third-party light sensor. The module includes a built-in GPS receiver for precise geo-positioning and internal clock correction, as well as an embedded accelerometer for monitoring vibration, acceleration, and tilt of the lighting pole to ensure structural integrity and operational safety.

Power is supplied via 110–220 V AC, and the controller supports luminaires with a maximum load of up to 1000 W. Installation is straightforward, with direct mounting on lighting poles or luminaire housings. The unit is housed in an ultra-compact, waterproof IP66-rated case, providing full protection against dust and water for reliable outdoor performance. Connections are made conveniently via wired terminals, enabling fast and secure installation in urban environments.

The Wire GSM Node is fully configurable through the QULON software, allowing remote setup and control of all functions. The device includes embedded triac load switching for on/off control, inputs for DALI 2.0 motion and eco sensors, and compatibility with third-party motion sensors. LEDs on the unit provide clear visual indicators of node status, facilitating quick diagnostics and monitoring. Its robust plastic housing, compact dimensions, and lightweight design ensure compatibility with standard luminaire and pole installations while maintaining durability in harsh environmental conditions.

Mechanically, the unit is constructed with a solid plastic case, measuring 87 mm in diameter by 91.3/69.3 mm in height, with a mass of 0.2 kg. It can be mounted directly to luminaire cases, poles, or other vertical surfaces. Electrically, it operates on 100–240 V AC, with a maximum power consumption of 5 W, and supports luminaires up to 1000 W. Environmental specifications include an operating temperature range of –40 to +70°C, storage temperature range of –50 to +80°C, and relative humidity up to 100%, with an IP66 protection rating. The unit is CE compliant, RoHS certified, and comes with a 36-month warranty.

Interfaces and protocols include DALI, DALI 2.0, PWM, 1-10V, 0-10V control outputs, GPS navigation, and cellular channels GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and optional WCDMA 900/2100. Inputs and outputs include wired connectors, an embedded daylight sensor, motion sensor input, and accelerometer. Configuration and indication are performed remotely via QULON software, with LEDs providing clear status feedback. The Wire GSM Node represents a compact, durable, and versatile solution for intelligent wireless street lighting control.
