The Command Flood® Series is a versatile and heavy-duty floodlight engineered to deliver dependable illumination in the most demanding marine, port, and industrial environments, including hazardous locations. Certified to UL 844 for installation in Class I, Division 2 areas, this fixture is purpose-built for environments where safety, performance, and durability are paramount. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the Command Flood® complies with both the Buy American Act (BAA) and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), ensuring it meets stringent domestic sourcing requirements. It is offered in three lumen output levels and three correlated color temperature options, making it adaptable for a wide range of applications such as outdoor perimeter lighting, maritime vessel deck illumination, overhead crane visibility, general area lighting, and hazardous zone operations.
Constructed with a marine-grade aluminum housing and equipped with 316 stainless steel hardware and an adjustable stainless steel mounting bracket, the Command Flood® is built to resist corrosion in saltwater and harsh industrial environments. The weatherproof, clear polycarbonate lens ensures long-term clarity and protection against impact and environmental exposure. Each model is designed with ceiling-mount capability and allows 220 degrees of harp rotation for precise beam aiming. The series includes the CF-150 (145W, up to 18,500 lumens), CF-250 (240W, up to 32,000 lumens), and CF-375 (360W, up to 48,000 lumens), all featuring a CRI greater than 70 and an exceptional L90 lifespan exceeding 100,000 hours per TM-21 standards. Available color temperatures include cool white (5000K), neutral white (4000K), and warm white (2700K) to suit different visual environments and operational needs.
Powering options include 120-277V or 277-480V, both operating at 50-60Hz, with built-in overload, over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection for reliable performance. Surge protection is standard at 6kV line-to-line and 10kV line-to-earth, with an optional 20kA external surge protection device available for added resilience in unstable electrical environments. The fixture is designed to operate in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +50°C and withstands humidity levels from 0% to 100%. It also endures vibration testing at 5 Grms from 100 to 2200 Hz, making it ideal for heavy-duty and mobile applications.
The Command Flood® is compliant with a wide range of standards and certifications, including ETL/cETL listings for UL 1598 (wet locations), UL 1598A (marine outside type, saltwater), and UL 844 for hazardous locations. It meets Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D requirements, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC compliance, and achieves a T4 maximum surface temperature rating of 135°C. It is also CSA C22.2 certified, CE marked, ABS approved, and rated IP66 for dust and water ingress protection. LM79 and LM80 performance reports are available upon request. The CF-150 model weighs 17.4 lbs with an EPA of 1.13 sq ft, the CF-250 weighs 31.4 lbs with an EPA of 2.18 sq ft, and the CF-375 weighs 44.2 lbs with an EPA of 3.23 sq ft. A safety cable is included with each unit to further enhance secure installation.
This combination of rugged construction, high lumen output, precise aiming capability, electrical protection, and comprehensive certifications makes the Command Flood® Series an optimal choice for mission-critical lighting needs in some of the harshest environments on earth.
