The fixture’s rugged shock mount base offers superior resistance to vibration and mechanical shock, making it especially suited for vessel, mining, and industrial use. An extended heat sink is integrated into the design to optimize heat dissipation, keeping the Lumileds Luxeon T LEDs cool and extending their service life to a rated 50,000 hours. The fully potted and conformal-coated circuit board provides excellent protection against moisture, dust, and contaminants, while the fixture’s electrical system includes over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection for enhanced reliability.
The SturdiLED® operates on a universal 120–277V, 50/60Hz power supply and is available in standard 5300K white light or 625 nm red output. It comes equipped with a 72-inch cord and pigtail, with an optional NEMA 5-15 plug accessory for quick installation. Mounting options include the standard shock mount base with captive M10 bolt, a stainless steel harp kit, or a four-bolt retrofit kit for varied installation requirements. Designed for both land and marine use, the SturdiLED® meets rigorous safety and performance standards, including ETL/cETL certification to UL 1598 and UL 1598A Marine Outside Type, CSA C22.2 No. 250.0, CE, ABS, and IP67 ingress protection. LM79 and LM80 reports are available, and it is compliant with the Buy American Act (BAA).
