At the heart of the Sharpy Plus is the high-performance Osram Sirius HRI 330W X8 arc lamp, producing a strong 12,000 lumen output with a crisp 8000K color temperature. The fixture weighs just 23 kg (50.7 lbs), offering a compact form factor slightly larger than the original Sharpy. This added space houses an advanced optical system with a wide 3° to 36° zoom range. At its tightest 3° angle, Sharpy Plus projects sharp, narrow, parallel beams, while its broader angles enable full spotlight functionality—making it a true dual-purpose solution for events, concerts, broadcasts, and beyond.
Sharpy Plus is loaded with high-end effects and dynamic features. Its linear CMY color mixing system is complemented by three color wheels offering five additional colors, including two CTO filters for flexible white balance. The fixture also includes a rotating gobo wheel with eight HD interchangeable glass gobos and a static gobo wheel featuring 18 static gobos and six beam reducers, allowing beam shaping down to a tight 0.5°. Effects are further enhanced with a linear frost for soft edge blending, a rotating aluminum animation wheel, and dual prisms (4-facet and 8-facet), each capable of bidirectional rotation at variable speeds for intricate aerial effects.
Control and motion precision are top-tier. Sharpy Plus offers smooth 16-bit pan (540°) and tilt (270°) movement with high accuracy and automatic repositioning. Users can choose between fast or standard movement speeds, and a mechanical lock ensures safe transport and maintenance. The fixture also features motorized zoom and focus, along with a high-resolution 16-bit dimmer and high-speed shutter/strobe functions.
Built for demanding environments, Sharpy Plus operates in any position and includes IP20-rated aluminum and steel housing with dual side handles. Its integrated software supports DMX, Art-Net, RDM, and sACN protocols, and it features a graphic LCD display, onboard web server, and compatibility with CloudIO. Additional capabilities include firmware uploads between fixtures, diagnostics, and DMX/RDM monitoring.
Sharpy Plus runs on a universal 100–240V power supply with active PFC and consumes a maximum of 540VA. It manages thermal conditions efficiently, with an operating range from -10°C to 40°C and total heat dissipation of approximately 1,845 BTU/hr.
