The Arolla Profile MP is a compact yet powerful moving head fixture that stands out as the smallest and lightest in its class. Despite its modest size, it delivers an impressive light output thanks to its 470-watt white LED engine, producing over 22,000 lumens. Designed for versatility and performance, the fixture includes advanced features typically reserved for much larger and more expensive luminaires. A hallmark of the Arolla Profile MP is its innovative eSWAP technology, allowing seamless interchangeability between the profile version’s framing module and the spot version’s gobo module. This plug-and-play system automatically recognizes the inserted module, eliminating the need for manual configuration or menu adjustments.
Claypaky, renowned for its precision optics and superior color rendering, has equipped the Arolla Profile MP with an optical system offering a zoom range of 6.2° to 48.8°. Its CMY color mixing system delivers rich, saturated hues, including a remarkably deep red, while a seven-color wheel includes an 88+ CRI enhancement filter and linear CTO for precise color temperature control. The fixture’s native 6400K white LED source avoids the harsh, metallic quality seen in some fixtures, ensuring excellent color rendering across a broad spectrum. A prominent 120 mm front lens also gives the fixture a distinct aesthetic on stage.
For creative effects, the Arolla Profile MP features a rotating gobo wheel loaded with seven high-definition, indexable gobos, enhanced by Claypaky’s exclusive Go-Bright technology, which ensures no color shift or light loss when gobos are inserted. The fixture includes a four-blade framing system capable of ±60° full-system rotation and individual full blackouts. Additional visual tools include a rotating animation wheel, a four-facet prism, and a variable frost filter that provides a soft 5° wash effect. Beam control is further enhanced with a motorized iris, motorized zoom and focus, and a 24-bit electronic dimmer offering four selectable dimming curves that preserve color integrity. High-speed shutter and strobe functions deliver dynamic performance flexibility.
Designed for modern lighting professionals, the Arolla Profile MP supports DMX, Art-Net, RDM, and sACN control protocols with 5-pin XLR and RJ45 connectors, and it’s fully compatible with CloudIO. It operates reliably across a wide voltage range (100–240V AC) and includes a built-in web server for remote diagnostics, firmware updates, and DMX monitoring. The fixture also offers five fan modes—Auto, Silent, Theatre, RnR, and Standard—providing tailored noise management down to just 40.6 dBA in theatre and SLN modes.
Weighing approximately 25 kg (55 lbs), the Arolla Profile MP remains lightweight without compromising performance or feature set. Its rugged aluminum and steel housing includes convenient side handles, IP20 protection, and support for any mounting orientation via fast-lock Omega clamps. With a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 45°C, thermal protections, and forced ventilation, it is built for reliable operation under demanding conditions.
