Constructed from durable steel and aluminum, the luminaire is finished in a powder-coated surface, with custom colors available by special order to match project-specific design themes. The fixture integrates high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers compatible with 120–277V and 347V in North America and 240V in Europe. The driver is built into the fixture housing for a clean, compact profile.

Light output is optimized for performance, with delivered lumens based on 4000K, CRI 80+ LEDs. The MATREX spotlight is engineered for longevity, boasting a reported L70 lifetime of over 60,000 hours and an estimated L70 lifespan exceeding 171,000 hours at 25°C (77°F), ensuring years of consistent, energy-efficient operation.

For safety-critical environments, MATREX is available with a remote emergency lighting system (North America only).
