Huracán Profile is a technological marvel that delivers exceptional light output, positioning itself as a leader in its class. This powerful luminaire is an essential tool for enhancing creativity, offering a robust platform for graphical effects. Powered by a high-efficiency 1000 W LED module and an oversized, next-generation cooling system, Huracán Profile produces a record output of 51,000 lumens at a color temperature of 7000 K under steady-state conditions. Ayrton’s new complex subtractive CMY color mixing system, which can generate billions of colors, offers users unprecedented flexibility (patent pending). The system also features a triple-variable color temperature corrector that allows subtle adjustments between 2700 K and 15,000 K while significantly improving CRI.
Designed with high-definition projection in mind, Huracán Profile is equipped with an advanced optical system. Featuring a 178 mm frontal lens, it uses 13 lenses to produce a 10:1 zoom ratio, providing a versatile zoom range of 6° to 60°. The optical system is designed to create a highly uniform flat beam without hot spots, ensuring precise reproduction of complex graphical effects. The advanced framing section of Huracán Profile provides accurate positioning of four shutter blades on a 100% surface area in any orientation, enabling precise framing of objects regardless of the luminaire’s position. Additionally, the luminaire includes a full graphical system with interchangeable effects cassettes and gobos. This includes a seven-position wheel with five rotating gobos and two effects cassettes capable of generating dynamic effects by superimposing two complementary inverted images in counter rotation (patent pending). A second gobo wheel is equipped with seven rotating gobos, and a monochromatic multi-position effects wheel provides horizontal, vertical, or axial scrolling for flame, water, or radiant effects. The multi-layer CMY wheel enables the creation of multicolour effects, while all gobos, cassettes, and effects wheels are made from high-definition tempered glass.
The Huracán Profile also comes with a variety of additional features to enhance its capabilities. It includes a 15-blade iris diaphragm, two frost filters (light and heavy), two rotating prisms—one 5-facet circular and one 4-facet linear—and dynamic colour options for further customization. The luminaire's electronic dimmer allows for smooth light adjustment from 0 to 100% without any color variation, while the strobe effect can be fine-tuned to speeds between 1 and 25 flashes per second.
For control, Huracán Profile offers local and remote DMX addressing through an integrated LCD control panel, along with a comprehensive information menu that includes an hour counter, temperature data, and software version details. The luminaire supports various communication protocols, including DMX 512, ArtNet™, and sACN, providing flexible control options through DMX cables or wireless systems. It also features an advanced cooling system, with self-adjusting variable-speed fans for quiet operation and safety protection against temperature excesses.
With a robust and durable design, Huracán Profile is built with a moving-head skeleton made from aluminum and steel plates, and a die-cast aluminum base with heatsinks made of aluminum and copper. The housing is constructed with fire-retardant ABS PC material for added safety. The luminaire’s sleek black (carbon) finish ensures a professional aesthetic, while its IP20 protection rating makes it suitable for a variety of environments. The luminaire can be easily transported, thanks to its side handles and heavy-duty feet for better stability. Additionally, Huracán Profile’s installation system includes Omega brackets for standard clamps and locking fittings for secure attachment.
Operating across a broad range of temperatures, Huracán Profile can function in ambient temperatures between -10°C (14°F) and 45°C (113°F), making it adaptable to various conditions.
