The Huracán LT from Ayrton delivers an ultra-intense beam from its 1000W LED source, enhanced by a 225 mm-diameter, extra-large frontal optic weighing 7 kg. This proprietary optical system, featuring 13 lenses, provides a 15:1 zoom ratio with a zoom range from 3.5° to 53°. The system is complemented by a next-generation, oversized liquid phase-change cooling mechanism, ensuring optimal performance. With a light output of 51,000 lumens at a color temperature of 6700 Kelvin, the Huracán LT is capable of reaching new heights in brightness and efficiency. Multiple optical tools are integrated for shaping light, such as a removable high-transmission diffusion filter, a progressive linear frost system for precision diffusion, and two combinable image-multiplying rotating prisms—one linear with four facets and another circular with five facets.
The Huracán LT is equipped with a revolutionary complex color mixing system, similar to the one found in the Huracán Profile. This system allows for a double CMY saturation level capable of generating over a billion colors (patent pending), along with a triple variable color temperature corrector that adjusts between 2700K and 15,000K, improving color rendering index (CRI). Its advanced framing section features four shutter blades that can precisely position on a 100% surface area in all positions, allowing users to frame objects regardless of the luminaire's orientation. The effects section offers two superimposed rotating gobo wheels, each containing seven HD glass gobos, as well as a 15-blade iris diaphragm and a monochromatic multi-position effects wheel. This wheel enables horizontal, vertical, or axial scrolling to create flame, water, or radiant effects (patent pending). Additionally, a CMY and RGB effects wheel provides further options for multicolor effects. Designed for large venues like arenas and stadiums hosting major events, Huracán LT combines exceptional light power with a suite of industry-leading features.
The luminaire's optical system uses a 13-element, 15:1 zoom, high-resolution optic system, with a beam aperture ranging from 3.5° to 53°. Its motorized linear zoom adjusts swiftly and precisely, ensuring perfect beam control. The fixture's light source is a 75,000-lumen, 8200K white light engine, with the total output reaching up to 51,000 lumens. The color temperature output is 6700K, and the CRI exceeds 70, with a rated life of up to 40,000 hours. This makes the Huracán LT ideal for high-precision, long-duration applications, including TV and video-recorded events, with flicker-free source management. The moving head is operated with high-resolution stepper motors via microprocessors, ensuring smooth and accurate movement across a 540° pan and 262° tilt range.
In terms of color performance, the Huracán LT's complex color mixing system offers double saturation for CMY and features variable color temperature correction for precise customization. Its gobo system consists of two indexable rotating gobo wheels, each holding seven high-precision glass gobos, plus an open position. The rotating gobo system allows for adjustable-speed movement in both directions. The framing system provides full control with four individually positionable shutter blades, and its iris diaphragm is fast, with a range from 15% to 100% open. The fixture includes two frost filters—light and heavy—ensuring that diffusion effects can be tailored to the specific needs of the application.
The Huracán LT's effect section is robust, featuring a monochromatic multi-position graphical animation effects wheel with continuous rotation in both directions, as well as a CMY & RGB color graphic animation effect-wheel. The rotating prisms add another layer of dynamic visual impact, with a five-facet circular prism and a four-facet linear prism that can be combined to create a range of effects. The luminaire's advanced cooling system utilizes self-adjusting variable-speed fans, ensuring quiet operation in Auto mode. Additionally, users can select ventilation modes, including a Super Silent Mode, for environments where noise is a critical concern.
Designed for ease of installation and operation, the Huracán LT features a robust housing made from aluminum and steel plates with a die-cast aluminum base. It has an IP20 protection rating, making it suitable for indoor environments, and it is finished in a sleek black carbon exterior. The fixture includes several mounting points and a safety cable attachment for secure installation. Operating in both stand-alone and Master/Slave modes, it supports DMX 512, ArtNet, and sACN protocols, offering versatile control options for various applications. With a maximum operating power of 1,470W, the Huracán LT offers impressive performance, ensuring that it remains an essential tool for large-scale events, even in the most demanding environments.
