Domino LT is a high-performance, all-terrain LED luminaire designed by Ayrton as part of its “LT” (Long Throw) range, tailored for intensive outdoor use in long-distance applications that demand exceptional precision. It features massive 225 mm-diameter frontal optics—unique in the market and weighing 7 kg—which produce an ultra-intensive beam. This is made possible through a proprietary 13-lens optical system that delivers an outstanding 15:1 zoom ratio, with a zoom range from a narrow 3.5° to a wide 53°. Engineered for resilience, Domino LT is built to operate under the harshest environmental conditions, from extreme weather to sudden climate shifts. Drawing from the streamlined, minimalist design of the Domino Profile, it offers full weatherproofing and easy access to all internal components. Its new die-cast aluminum frame reduces visual footprint, while a next-generation oversized cooling system with six external submersible fans ensures optimal performance and longevity in any setting.
The Domino LT houses a newly developed, high-efficiency 1,000-watt LED module that delivers a powerful 51,000-lumen output at a crisp 6700 K color temperature. Leveraging the complex color mixing technology first introduced in the Huracán Profile, Domino LT includes a double CMY saturation system capable of producing an extraordinary 281 trillion colors, alongside a triple variable color temperature corrector that adjusts output from 2700 K to 15000 K with enhanced CRI. To shape and manipulate light, it comes equipped with a progressive linear frost system, a light frost filter, and two rotating, image-multiplying prisms—a four-facet linear prism and a five-facet circular prism.
The framing system allows precision control with four individually adjustable shutter blades covering the full field, and the module can rotate ±60°. The effects engine offers exceptional creative potential with dual rotating gobo wheels containing seven high-precision glass gobos each, a 15-blade iris diaphragm, and dual effects wheels—one monochromatic and the other RGB/CMY—for vivid multicolour effects. The dimming system enables smooth, flicker-free light adjustment from 0 to 100% without colour distortion, while a strobe function provides speeds ranging from 1 to 25 flashes per second.
In terms of optics, the 13-element system includes a fast motorized zoom and anti-reflective coated lenses, anchored by a massive 225 mm front lens. The light source supports a rated L70 life of up to 40,000 hours, with flicker-free operation ideal for video and broadcast. Movement precision is ensured by high-resolution stepper motors with microprocessor control, offering pan and tilt ranges of 540° and 263° respectively. The fixture also includes fixed colour wheels, multiple correction filters (CTB, CTO, CTP), and a wide range of high-fidelity output options.
Control features include both local and remote DMX/RDM addressing, with support for ArtNet and sACN protocols. A graphic LCD panel with a jog wheel offers intuitive on-device operation. Domino LT is available in IP65 and IP66 versions, each with corresponding ruggedized connectors for DMX, Ethernet, and power. The onboard wireless CRMX TiMo™ RDM receiver provides cable-free control options.
The power supply is an active PFC system compatible with 120–240V at 50/60Hz, drawing a maximum of 1,600 watts. Thermal management is handled by an advanced liquid cooling system with IP68-rated fans that automatically adjust speed for quiet, efficient operation, complemented by selectable ventilation modes including a Super Silent Mode. The robust housing is made entirely of die-cast aluminum, offering IP65 protection and fire-retardant properties, with integrated handles and heavy-duty feet for ease of transport and installation.
Designed for flexible use, Domino LT supports all mounting orientations and operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 45°C. With a minimum usage distance of just 3 meters, it’s suitable for both intimate and large-scale applications. Domino LT is truly a flagship solution, built to perform flawlessly in stadiums, large arenas, and the most demanding outdoor environments.
