Constructed with durability and sustainability in mind, the housing is extruded aluminum with a nominal thickness of 0.080 inches and contains up to 70% recycled content. The die-cast aluminum end caps and joiners add structural integrity, while specular aluminum reflectors help optimize light output. The acrylic lens with Microtek detailing ensures efficient light diffusion, and the entire assembly is suspended via aircraft cable for a clean, floating appearance. Cable grips provide easy, secure connections along the length of the product.
The luminaire supports a wide range of driver options, including Lutron LDE1 Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem with Soft-on, Fade-to-Black, as well as DALI, DMX, Xitanium SR, and several Tunable White configurations. Options like DPTW and LDTW drivers offer advanced dimming and color temperature control capabilities. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) drivers and smart control protocols including MOLEX, IGOR, and SMARTENGINE. Emergency lighting compatibility is provided via optional integral battery packs or emergency circuit configurations. Input voltages supported include 120V, 277V, 347V, UNV, and DC.
Wall Wash Perfekt is engineered for seamless continuous runs with a refined connection system. Available in lengths from 2 to 12 feet in 1-foot increments, systems exceeding 12 feet are assembled on-site using Axis’s precision joining mechanisms. This modular approach allows for tailored configurations while ensuring structural stability and lighting uniformity.
Certified to UL and CSA standards, the fixture is IC rated for use in insulated ceilings and compliant with NYC building codes. It is rated for dry and damp locations, operating reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F). The integrated thermal management system uses the aluminum housing as a passive heat sink to extend LED lifespan and maintain performance.
The lighting system incorporates a vertical light guide optical system that is currently patent pending. A black multigroove linear trim enhances aesthetics, while optional black louvers provide deeper longitudinal shielding. The microgroove aluminum material, finished in black, completes the clean visual profile.
Wall Wash Perfekt offers a minimum CRI of 80 or 90, ensuring accurate color rendering. It is available in fixed CCTs of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, all with excellent color consistency within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse. The luminaire delivers up to 1000 lumens per foot with efficacy reaching up to 84 lumens per watt.
