The luminaires support multiple CCT choices—2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K—as well as Axis Lighting’s Axitune® Tunable White systems, available in 2700K–5000K or 2700K–6500K ranges.
Among its many innovations, the Tranquility Series offers unique lens design options. The Drop Lens features a patented 3D form in a 2'×2' footprint, offering eight depths ranging from flush to 7". This allows for dynamic luminous ceilings with a soft, uniform glow and wrap-around imagery that enhances both ceilings and walls. Tranquility Drop Lens configurations are compatible with 9/16” and 15/16” grid systems and deliver up to 3000 lumens.
The Overlay Grid configuration transforms multi-unit installations into a seamless visual composition. It delivers dimmable ambient light while providing a continuous, uninterrupted visual through multiple luminaire units. Tranquility luminaires are also built with durability and cleanability in mind, ideal for healthcare and high-sanitation environments. The housing is formed from 20-gauge cold rolled steel, paired with an extruded aluminum door frame and a 0.125" matte PMMA clear acrylic lens. The graphic image is printed on the inner surface of the lens, ensuring protection from cleaning agents and scratches. High-reflectance painted reflectors and integrated hold-down clips further enhance performance and longevity.
Electrical options support a broad range of needs, including Lutron Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem (LDE1), DALI, DMX, Xitanium SR, and Power over Ethernet. Additional tunable white dimming drivers include DALIDT6, DALIDT8, DPTW, and LDTW, with compatibility for Molex, IGOR, and Smartengine systems. Tranquility fixtures operate on 120V, 277V, 347V, or universal input voltage (UNV), and emergency battery pack or circuit options are available upon request.
The Tranquility Series delivers CRI ratings of 80 or 90 and exceptional color consistency within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse. LED life is rated at a minimum of 50,000 hours at 85% lumen maintenance in 25°C ambient temperatures, in accordance with IES LM-80 standards. Thermal management is handled by the steel housing, which serves as an effective heat sink. The luminaires are suitable for dry and damp indoor locations, operating in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C (-4°F to +104°F), and are certified to UL, CSA, and NSF standards, including CCEA compliance for Chicago Plenum and New York City requirements.
