Each unit incorporates 18 high-power LEDs, delivering a light output of up to 3,100 lumens at source, with a focused piercing spot beam and a surrounding flood of lower-level fringe light for excellent coverage. These LEDs are engineered for long life, rated at over 100,000 hours, and are "fitted for life," eliminating the need for replacement.
The WL-50 series offers dual light output levels with user-selectable high and low power modes. On full power, the battery lasts up to 5 hours, while the low-power setting extends operational time to 10 hours. A fully managed internal control circuit handles power switching, battery level indication, and low battery cut-off protection to safeguard the sealed 12V gel lead acid battery from deep discharge. Battery recharging is completed in approximately 8 hours, and the included mains charger accepts input voltages from 100 to 254Vac, featuring a state of charge LED indicator.
In terms of ingress protection, the Worklite is IP66 and IP67 rated, meaning it is not only dust-tight but also protected against powerful water jets and temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter, ensuring resilience in harsh and wet conditions. It meets the following safety codes: II 2 GD Ex eb ib mb IIC T4 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T135°C Db, suitable for gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC and dust groups IIIA, IIIB, IIIC. The certification numbers include CML 18ATEX3373X and IECEx CML 18.0199X.
