Rodeo Solo™ is a suspended linear LED luminaire distinguished by its slender profile, regressed optic, and anodized trim, which together create a sophisticated balance of form and function. This design enables glare-free illumination, allowing the fixture’s sleek profile to recede gracefully into the architectural space while adding a subtle decorative accent. The lustrous anodized trim enhances the minimalist form, offering an enticing visual effect that becomes particularly striking when multiple units are arranged creatively. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Rodeo Solo excels as a performance luminaire, featuring a Comfort diffuser that delivers soft, evenly distributed direct light. The uplight component employs a powerful 120° Batwing optic, which contributes to ambient illumination with minimal glare, making the fixture effective as a primary light source.
Constructed from durable aluminum and finished with a smooth powder coat, Rodeo Solo ensures both longevity and visual refinement. The fixture is suspended by steel cables, paired with a silver braided power cable, combining structural integrity with a clean, modern appearance. The integrated high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers operate on 120-277V or 347V (EU-240V) and are housed within the fixture to maintain a streamlined look. For enhanced connectivity and smart building integration, Rodeo Solo supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to be incorporated seamlessly into data networks.
Installation is simplified as the luminaires mount directly over a standard junction box (by others). An optional remote emergency lighting system provides up to 1.5 hours of illumination (3 hours in EU configurations), featuring an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote LED charge indicator with test switch. The maximum distance between the wall or ceiling plate and the luminaire is 15 feet (4.5 meters), and the test switch fits a single gang box (not supplied). For advanced lighting controls, Rodeo Solo is compatible with a variety of sensor and control systems, including Avi-On, Casambi, Enlighted, Lutron Vive, nLight, NX Lighting Controls, Osram, and Philips, among others.
Performance-wise, the luminaire boasts a reported L70 lifetime of over 55,000 hours and an estimated L70 life exceeding 165,000 hours at 25°C (77°F), delivering approximately 2000 lumens per foot (6000 lumens per meter) at 4000K with a high color rendering index (CRI) of 90+. Rodeo Solo is damp rated, making it suitable for a wide range of interior environments. Designed by Serge Cornelissen, this luminaire combines elegance, efficiency, and adaptability to meet the demands of contemporary architectural lighting.
