Constructed from a combination of aluminum and steel, Soft Sq™ ensures structural integrity and durability. The opal acrylic diffuser provides smooth, glare-free illumination, contributing to a clean and modern aesthetic. The fixture operates via a remotely mounted high-power-factor electronic driver, compatible with 120–277V systems in North America and 240V in the EU. Drivers must remain accessible after installation, and remote mounting is supported with a maximum distance of up to 29.5' (9m), depending on wire gauge.
Soft Sq™ also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) integration, allowing it to connect seamlessly into data networks for smart building applications. For added safety, a remote emergency lighting option is available, providing up to 1.5 hours of operation in North America and 3 hours in the EU. This system includes a remote inverter module, NiCad batteries, and an LED charge indicator and test switch (North America only), with a maximum 25' (7.6m) distance between the wall/ceiling plate and the luminaire.
With a lumen output measured at 4000K and CRI 80+, Soft Sq™ delivers consistent and efficient illumination. It is rated for over 50,000 hours of life at 25°C (77°F), making it a long-lasting choice for commercial or institutional interiors. The fixture is also damp rated, making it suitable for a variety of installation environments. Seismic bracing kits are available to meet regional compliance requirements, and sensor compatibility can be confirmed through factory consultation.
