Constructed with a robust aluminum body and finished with a durable powder coating, Tunnel Systems ensures both longevity and elegance. The fixture is suspended using steel cables complemented by a silver braided power cable, delivering a streamlined and polished aesthetic. It features integral high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V and 347V in North America, as well as 240V in Europe, all housed within the fixture to simplify installation and maintenance.
The diffuser is made of opal acrylic with a width of 2.4 inches, providing uniform, soft illumination. Tunnel Systems supports integration into modern data networks through Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enabling advanced smart lighting controls. For circadian lighting applications, the fixture is compatible with BIOS systems; detailed information can be obtained by consulting the factory. Additionally, a tunable white feature is available, offering a color temperature range from 2700K to 6500K for customizable ambiance. This self-contained emergency system incorporates an inverter module, NiCad batteries, an LED charge indicator, and a test switch (available in North America only). However, this option is not available with a 347V power supply. Tunnel Systems is compatible with various sensor and control platforms, including Avi-On, Casambi, Enlighted, Lutron Vive, nLight, NX Lighting Controls, Osram, and Philips, among others, ensuring broad integration possibilities.
Mechanically, Tunnel Systems luminaires mount directly over a J-box, which is supplied by others, streamlining the installation process.
