The Profile Column Light is a refined, minimalist lighting solution that merges sculptural design with purposeful illumination. It casts a distinctive wash of light down the recessed channel of its signature I-beam column, creating an interplay of shadows and highlights that enhances the visual experience of outdoor environments. Designed in collaboration with award-winning lighting designer Linnaea Tillett and Tillett Lighting Design Associates, the Profile Column Light is part of a versatile lighting family that brings poetic form and function to a wide range of applications.
The Profile system is thoughtfully engineered for flexibility and aesthetic precision. Modular add-on sections allow designers to adjust the height and directionality of the light, tailoring it to the specific requirements of each project. Optional foot lights further enhance its adaptability, offering low-level illumination for wayfinding or architectural accenting. From wide-open landscapes to narrow walkways, from building entrances to landscape beds, Profile adapts seamlessly to the space, delivering both performance and beauty.
Built for durability and performance, the Profile Column Light features a one-piece welded pole made from extruded aluminum “H” sections, paired with machined aluminum base and transition plates. A two-piece cast aluminum base cover conceals fasteners for a clean look. The luminaire is powered by a surge-protected 120V–277V electronic driver with 0–10V dimming capability, and is rated to operate reliably in temperatures as low as -40°C. An optional ANSI C136.41 twist-lock receptacle enhances its smart lighting capabilities.
The lighting engine of the column includes grazing lights housed in replaceable LED cartridges. Each cartridge is built from die-cast aluminum and features high-power LEDs mounted on RoHS-compliant circuit boards, paired with secondary optics and injection-molded cutoff baffles. A UV-stable, impact-resistant, diffused acrylic lens provides smooth light distribution. Foot lights, where included, use a similar construction and mount directly to the driver compartment door with magni-coated hardware. All light engines are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K color temperatures, with a minimum CRI of 80 across the board.
