The Ai Cove from Acclaim Lighting is a specialized interior cove lighting solution designed to deliver the warmth and feel of traditional incandescent dimming, with the efficiency and flexibility of modern LED technology. Available in 1-foot and 4-foot sections, Ai Cove incorporates Acclaim’s proprietary Ai Dim (Acclaim Intelligent Dimming) system—a carefully engineered blend of LED selection and a precision-tuned dimming curve that allows the fixture to mimic the natural warm dimming behavior of incandescent lamps. As the fixture dims, its color temperature transitions smoothly from 3000K down to a cozy 1800K, making it ideal for hospitality, residential, and ambient lighting applications where a soft, intimate atmosphere is desired.
Ai Cove produces 500 lumens per foot with a high CRI of 93, ensuring excellent color rendering and visual comfort. It features a wide 120º beam angle to evenly wash coves and ceilings with soft, diffuse light. Multiple Ai Cove fixtures can be linked in long, continuous runs—up to 50 feet at 120VAC, or up to 100 feet at 240VAC or 277VAC—simplifying large-scale installations and minimizing power feeds.
This linear LED fixture supports a wide range of dimming protocols, including TRIAC (forward phase), ELV (reverse phase), 0-10V, and DMX, although 0-10V and DMX control options require the use of an external UDM interface. The fixture is designed for dry indoor locations (IP20 rated) and operates within a temperature range of -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C), making it suitable for a variety of controlled environments.
Ai Cove includes a standard 30º swivel mount for adjustable aiming, with an optional 90º swivel mount available for more flexibility. The housing is constructed from durable aluminum with a polycarbonate lens, and standard finish options include white, with black, gray, or custom finishes also available. With a power consumption of 13.5W for the 1-foot version and 53W for the 4-foot version, the fixture balances high output with energy efficiency. All models are equipped with an attached three-conductor AC lead and come with end-to-end link cables for streamlined connection.
Ai Cove is available in dedicated models for 120VAC, 220–240VAC, and 277VAC, allowing it to be tailored to a wide range of regional voltage standards and installation requirements.
