When ceiling-mounted, RING BLADE creates the illusion of being recessed, seamlessly integrating with the ceiling and appearing as a natural architectural element. Constructed from a combination of steel and aluminum, RING BLADE features a powder-coated finish for durability and style. It uses optical-grade clear polymethyl methacrylate diffusers to maintain even, efficient light distribution. The luminaire is suspended via a Power Over Suspension (P.O.S.) cable that combines mechanical support and power delivery in a minimalist solution. It can be mounted directly over a junction box (by others in North America only), maintaining its clean, integrated look.
Lighting performance is backed by high-efficiency HPF electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V (EU-240V) dimming systems. Drivers are either remote-mounted or integrated into the canopy and must remain accessible after installation. Remote emergency options are available, providing 1.5 hours of backup lighting (3 hours in EU models), with a self-contained system including an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a wall- or ceiling-mounted LED charge indicator and test switch (NA only). The maximum driver-to-fixture wiring distances depend on the gauge used, allowing flexible placement within architectural constraints.
RING BLADE achieves 100 lumens per watt for direct output and up to 113 lumens per watt for direct-indirect models. With a delivered lumen rating based on 4000K at minimum 90 CRI, it meets both aesthetic and functional requirements across commercial, educational, and public spaces. PoE compatibility enables RING BLADE to integrate into data networks via Power over Ethernet, offering advanced control and reduced wiring complexity.
