The pendant is suspended by sturdy steel cables complemented by a silver-braided power cable, ensuring both strength and aesthetic appeal. The integral high power factor electronic drivers operate within a voltage range of 120-277V and 347V (EU-240V), and are housed within the fixture for seamless integration.
TIMPANI RD also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), enabling easy integration into modern data networks for enhanced control and connectivity. Mechanically, the luminaires mount directly over a junction box (provided by others, North America only), simplifying installation.
Lighting is diffused through an opal polycarbonate diffuser, providing soft, comfortable illumination. For added safety and compliance, an integral emergency lighting option is available. This system offers a 1.5-hour (3 hours for EU) backup facility, including an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote wall or ceiling LED charge indicator and test switch (North America only).
