MASTER 3 represents a fusion of meticulous design and outstanding performance in a single LED light fixture for urban street and area applications. Its distinctive and recognizable style makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of urban environments, from city avenues and squares to pedestrian streets. MASTER 3 combines aesthetic appeal with functional excellence, ensuring uniform and efficient lighting that meets the diverse needs of modern urban spaces. The luminaire is part of the MASTER series, a collection conceived for both urban and roadway lighting, capable of delivering precise visual comfort and superior light distribution for pedestrians and vehicles alike.
MASTER 3 integrates smart and connected technology, enabling the creation of intelligent urban lighting networks. Through AEC’s Smart solutions, cities can manage individual light points remotely, optimizing performance and operational costs while fostering the development of smart city projects. This connectivity allows municipalities to regulate luminous flux for specific applications, achieving the precise light levels required for safety, usability, and urban aesthetics while maximizing energy savings.
The luminaire offers extensive flexibility through a wide selection of optical modules. Asymmetrical optics such as STE-M/S, STU-M/S, STW, SV, SV2, and S05 provide tailored solutions for suburban streets, urban roads, cycle paths, wide wet asphalt roads, narrow streets, highway entrance and exit turns, as well as green areas. MASTER 3 also supports 4000K color temperature LEDs, with an optional 3000K variant, and a color rendering index (CRI) of 70 or higher, ensuring photobiological safety and high visual comfort. Its LED modules achieve an efficiency of 168 lm/W at 525 mA, with IP66 protection, IK08 impact resistance, and insulation class II or I.
MASTER 3 is highly adaptable in terms of installation. Post-top mounting accommodates pole diameters of 60 to 102 mm, while bracket configurations include short and long versions for poles with diameters from 102 to 127 mm. The luminaire can also be mounted on rectangular or square poles, making it suitable for diverse urban infrastructure. The light modules are removable and replaceable, with a removable gear tray for maintenance and service efficiency. The operating temperature range spans -40°C to +50°C, ensuring reliable performance in extreme environmental conditions.
Electrical specifications include a rated voltage of 220–240V at 50/60Hz, a power factor greater than 0.95 at full load, and an on-load switch integrated with a cable clamp. Mains connection supports cables up to 4 mm², and surge protection is provided up to 10 kV, with optional SPD modules up to 10 kV/10 kV CM/DM or 10 kV-10 kA type 2+3 with LED signal and thermal fuse for end-of-life load disconnection. Control systems offer multiple options, including fixed power, automatic dimming (DA), custom dimming profiles (DAC), constant light flux (FLC), wireless single-point communication (WL), DALI interface, 7-pin NEMA socket, and 4-pin ZHAGA socket.
MASTER 3 is constructed from durable materials selected for strength and longevity. The fixing components, heat sink, lower frame, and upper canopy are die-cast aluminum UNI EN1706 powder painted, while the optics are made of 99.85% aluminum with a 99.95% vacuum-sealed surface finish, classified as A+ grade according to DIN EN 16268. The fixture is protected by a flat tempered glass screen, 4 mm thick with high transparency, and sealed with a polyurethane gasket. A plastic M20x1.5 cable gland with IP68 rating ensures safe electrical connections, completing a luminaire that combines durability, functionality, and aesthetic sophistication for modern urban streets and public spaces.
