Engineered for both visual appeal and functionality, the SYP405 includes a sleek, seamless extruded aluminum housing with an asymmetric heatsink for effective thermal management. The sealed cast aluminum downlight assembly offers long-term durability, and users can choose between a faceted specular aluminum reflector for smooth, glare-free illumination or a TIR collimator lens for a narrow, focused beam. To meet DarkSky certification requirements, the luminaire module must remain in a fixed horizontal position.
The Syrios Pro family has been thoughtfully redesigned with a “curb to cube” approach, ensuring a cohesive design aesthetic and project continuity across outdoor and architectural applications. This versatile line includes pole, wall, ceiling, and pendant mounts—including aircraft cable, stem, or catenary options—and supports up, down, or up/down light distributions. Available in two sizes (4.5” and 6”) and two profiles (round and square), Syrios Pro offers flexibility with beam angles of 6°, 15°, 30°, or 55°, as well as four IES distribution types (I, II, III, and V) for outdoor use. The product is DarkSky approved and rated IP65 for wet locations, making it ideal for demanding exterior environments. Options also include RGBW for color-changing applications and a true amber version (585–597nm) designed for turtle-sensitive coastal areas.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant 360 aluminum alloy with a copper content below 0.1%, Syrios Pro is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The main housing is precision-crafted from seamless 6063 extruded aluminum, while the integrally sealed LED light module ensures optimal performance and longevity. The electrical system includes a 0-10V dimming-ready driver that dims down to 1%, compatible with 120–277V (50–60Hz) or 347–480V (50–60Hz). The driver features multiple protection mechanisms, including over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit safeguards with auto-recovery. The LED light engine is offered in standard CCTs of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K with 80 CRI, ensuring 70% lumen maintenance at 60,000 hours based on LM-80-08 and TM-21-21 standards. RGBW versions include quad-chip technology for consistent color mixing directly under each optic.
To ensure durability and visual consistency, Syrios Pro undergoes a rigorous five-stage surface preparation process. This includes preheating of aluminum components for air extraction and sealing with an environmentally friendly alloy coating. The luminaire is finished with a polyester powder coat applied electrostatically and oven cured for a long-lasting, high-performance finish. Certified to UL standards for both U.S. and Canadian markets, Syrios Pro is approved for wet locations and complies with IP65 requirements. Photometric performance is verified through independent testing per IES LM-79-08 standards at 25ºC. Note that the use of SPG cables is limited to indoor applications only.
