Engineered for durability, the LS 60d features a weather-resistant design on both the lamp head and DC power connector, making it a reliable companion for challenging environments and location shoots. Its modular V-Mount Receiver can hold various power options, including an AC adapter, D-Tap batteries, or Aputure’s Dual NP-F Battery Plate, which enables full output using either a single D-Tap battery or two NP-F batteries—or half output with one NP-F. To offer advanced lighting control, the LS 60d comes standard with an 8-Leaf Barndoor set, featuring extra side flags for refined shaping and beam manipulation. The LS 60d also supports a wide ecosystem of Aputure modifiers via its LS 60 Mini Mount, including a custom Bowens Mount Adapter, the dedicated LS 60 Softbox for soft light output, and the Spotlight Mini Zoom—an optical attachment with 2x zoom precision. The LS 60d joins the Sidus Link ecosystem, granting intuitive wireless control via Bluetooth and the Sidus Mesh network. This mesh system enables two-way communication between multiple fixtures and a controlling device, expanding control range and enhancing network stability. The LS 60d operates with an OLED screen, uses active cooling, supports locking power cables, and offers a Bluetooth range of up to 80 meters. The LS 60x shares the LS 60d’s compact form factor and optical excellence while offering the added flexibility of bi-color output. This expanded CCT range spans from 2700K to 6500K, with built-in CCT presets that match the LS 300x, allowing filmmakers to dial in anything from warm candlelight to crisp daylight. At 5600K, the LS 60x achieves over 30,000 lux in spot mode and 5,200 lux in flood, surpassing the performance of 300W tungsten Fresnels and competing LEDs. Its outstanding color fidelity is reflected in CRI and TLCI scores of 96+, a CQS average of 95, an SSI of 86 (Tungsten), and an SSI of 74 (D56).
