The fixture is designed with a 90-degree cutoff to eliminate light trespass, preserving patient comfort while ensuring adequate visibility. LED color options include white (2700K to 4000K), amber, and blue, allowing users to select light tones that best support circadian rhythms or align with specific room aesthetics. An integrated photocell sensor activates the steplight automatically based on ambient lighting levels, and both on/off behavior and brightness settings can be customized at installation.
Built for reliability and safety, the fixture features a shallow, ADA-compliant faceplate that projects just 5/8" from the wall. Its smooth, contoured design discourages dust accumulation and is easy to clean—essential for maintaining hygienic conditions in clinical settings. Constructed from die-cast aluminum with a polycarbonate lens, the steplight’s rugged exterior and internal gaskets provide IP64 ingress protection, making it suitable for wet location use.
