Constructed with extruded and welded 6061 aluminum, the housing is 100% recyclable and features a minimum wall thickness of 0.075", providing both structural strength and a sleek architectural profile. The fixture integrates premium acoustic panels made from 100% recyclable PET polyester fibers, available in ten standard colors. These 0.5" (12mm)-thick panels function as a 2D absorber with an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) of 0.85, offering superior sound attenuation. Panels are precision-cut using CNC technology, allowing for beveled edges and custom cutouts, while meeting ASTM E84 Class A and EN13501-1 Class B fire ratings. Custom acoustic designs can be submitted using ALW’s design template for added creative flexibility.
The pendant features high-performance LED lamping with outputs ranging from 1,500 to 36,000 lumens, including white, tunable white (2700K–6500K), RGB, and RGB+W options. Color temperatures are selectable at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K with a CRI of 80 or 90+. The fixture employs direct or direct+indirect Lambertian distribution with extra-diffused opal acrylic lenses for even light distribution and minimal glare. For indirect illumination, a high-transmission (HT) clear lens option increases lumen output by approximately 15% while maintaining quality, although LED chips become partially visible and are recommended only when the top side of the fixture is not directly in view.
Power and control systems are highly adaptable, supporting remote drivers with 0-10V, DALI, DMX, Lutron EcoSystem LDE1 (1%), Phase dimming, and POE options. Compatible building and lighting management systems include Lutron Vive, Enlighted, EldoLED, nLight, Osram, Philips, and more. The fixture is suitable for dry locations and contributes to WELL™ Building Standard features v1: 58, 60, 78, and 80, as well as v2: L07 and S04, enhancing wellness-focused design initiatives.
With a long lifespan exceeding 54,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance (LM80 / TM-21), the pendant offers reliable, maintenance-free performance. All units are ETL Listed to UL 2108, conform to California Title 24 JA8 and JA10 appendices when specified with 90CRI lamping, and meet CSA standards C22.2#250.0:2008 Ed. 3+G1;G2. Power cables come standard in transparent sheathing to match steel aircraft suspension cables, ensuring a clean installation aesthetic. Custom cable requests are accommodated through ALW customer support; however, field replacement of power cables is not permitted, as it would void both ETL safety listing and product warranty.
