The fixture’s 6-inch aperture cylinder is paired with up to 70 square feet of acoustic material, ensuring that the pendant contributes equally to both visual impact and noise reduction in a space.
SERENE is available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 27 to 38 inches in width and 27 to 35 inches in height, making it adaptable for different architectural needs. Its LED engine offers a wide choice of color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K) with a 90 CRI standard, or an advanced BIOS option for circadian lighting applications. The fixture supports a broad selection of drivers and dimming protocols, including 0–10V, Phase, DALI, DMX, eldoLED, Lutron®, and PoE systems from Molex, Igor, and NuLEDS, with dimming down to 0% on select models. Power consumption ranges from 5.6W to 34.1W per fixture, and it operates on 100VAC or 277VAC inputs, with 120VAC dedicated to phase dimmable versions.
Optical performance is ensured through spun aluminum reflectors with distributions from 15° to 80°, which are field-replaceable for added flexibility. A durable TGIC polyester powder coat finish is offered in a palette of 10 standard acoustic colors, with construction featuring extruded aluminum, galvanized steel hardware, and 0.5-inch PET polyester felt. The pendant is suitable for indoor dry or damp environments, offering both resilience and versatility in installation.
As part of the Harmonic Collection, SERENE integrates acoustic materials engineered for premium sound absorption. The collection’s 10 acoustic color options are made from 0.5-inch (12mm) PET polyester fibers with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85, ensuring effective acoustic control. Precision CNC cutting technology allows for customized edges and cutouts, expanding design possibilities while maintaining performance. All acoustic panels conform to ASTM E84 Class A and EN13501-1 Class B fire ratings, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards.
Adding to its versatility, SERENE can be specified with BIOS SkyBlue® technology, which provides circadian lighting benefits through a carefully tuned spectral peak at 490nm. This light quality improves sleep and well-being by achieving high Equivalent Melanopic Lux (EML) and favorable Melanopic/Photopic ratios without the discomfort of overly harsh color temperatures or glare. For greater control, BIOS-equipped fixtures can include a dynamic board and Bio-Dimmer module, allowing the 490nm signal to be dimmed out during evening hours for a biologically attuned lighting experience.
