It can be powered using either the included high-capacity 21700 battery pack or two regular 21700 batteries (with or without a USB-C port). With a range of outputs, including ultra-low, low, medium, high, turbo, and strobe modes, it is suitable for a variety of tasks. For instance, with the Luminus SBT-90.2 LED, the flashlight provides an ultra-low output of 50 lumens with a runtime of 74 hours, a low output of 150 lumens for 36 hours, and a high output of 2300 lumens with a beam distance of 731 meters. The turbo mode provides an output of 5500 lumens with a beam distance of up to 1280 meters for a short duration. The Luminus SFT-90X LED offers similar brightness levels and beam distances, with a maximum output of 5600 lumens and a beam distance of up to 1454 meters in turbo mode.
The P20's design allows for the quick and easy replacement of batteries, especially in emergency situations. It features a removable 21700 battery pack with a built-in USB-C port, which helps maintain its IP68 waterproof rating.
