The all-in-one design integrates the LED light engine directly into the trim, providing superior thermal management, while the gimbal trim with built-in flange is constructed from durable die cast aluminum. The LED light engine mounts directly to the trim, simplifying installation into existing 4-inch recessed housings with medium base sockets. The trim includes push-in friction springs for secure mounting and supports 2700K or 3000K LED color temperatures with a minimum 90 CRI, maintaining consistent and accurate color rendering. Electrical connections are simplified with a quick connect plug standard for installation into QC4 and QC4R housings. For installation into 4-inch incandescent housings with medium base sockets, the trim ships with a medium base socket adapter whip, although this adapter is not included for products shipped to California. The optical system conceals the LED source behind a lensed optic and offers choice between 25° narrow flood or 65° wide flood beam patterns. Life expectancy is rated at 50,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance.
The 4RLA G2 retrofit adjustable trim is compatible with most 4-inch recessed housings measuring at least 4 inches in height with an inside diameter between 4 inches and 4-1/2 inches. Compatible housings include Juno IC1 and TC1 Series, Juno quick-connect QC4 and QC4R housings, VuLite V4IC and V4TC Series, Lithonia L3 Series, Halo H99 Series, Thomas PS4 Series, and Capri P4 and R4 Series. The module is UL and cUL classified for use with standard UL-listed 4-inch recessed incandescent housings, Juno QC4 and QC4R housings, and is certified to the high efficacy requirements of California Title 24, suitable for damp locations.
