The electronic driver is concealed within the rear housing to maintain a minimal overall footprint while providing quiet operation with or without dimming. The driver is solid-state, Class 2 compliant, and includes integral overcurrent and short-circuit protection. It supports high-quality, factory-approved reverse phase ELV dimmers and is compatible with Acuity nLight dimming controls when combined with an nLight nPP PCD EFP ELV or rPP PCD EFP G2 ELV Phase Adaptive Power Pack at the track input, offering a dimming range from 100% down to as low as 3% with a minimum load of one fixture. Forward phase, reverse phase, incandescent, and magnetic low-voltage dimming are also supported, with dimming performance and maximum loads dependent on the specific dimmer model.
Optical performance is achieved through interchangeable, computer-designed faceted reflectors available in three factory-configured beam spreads. One reflector is supplied with each fixture as specified in the catalog number, while accessory reflectors can be installed in the field for additional beam shaping. A variety of light control accessories can be attached to further refine the beam. The fixture provides 360° horizontal rotation and 105° vertical aiming, allowing precise positioning, while the bayonet-mounted accessory holder ensures secure attachment of one or two accessories as desired.
The T254L is compatible with multiple track systems, including Juno Trac-Master and Trac-Lites tracks, as well as a variety of alternate factory-assembled adapters for TEK, GTYPE, HTYPE, and LTYPE tracks. The universal track adapter includes copper alloy contacts with spring action to prevent arcing, a spring-loaded positive latch with embossed polarity arrows, and a two-position power contact for two-circuit applications. The TEK adapter provides integrated polarization to prevent reverse installation, a rotary circuit selector, and an on/off switch for individual fixture servicing. All adapters are UL Recognized for safety and performance compliance.
