Bring your screen to life​

The WiZ HDMI sync box with TV backlight is all that the users need for bringing their screens to life. By simply connecting the Sync box to a HDMI media device such as streaming stick, set-top box, and gaming console, and attaching the LED strip to the back of their TV, users can make lights sync with the colors and brightness of the TV screen. No need to put a camera on top of your TV screen and there is no need for a complicated calibration procedure. It supports HDMI 2.0 and video formats up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR10+/Dolby Vision. The Sync box reads the video signal directly from the HDMI input, instantly analyzes the entire screen, and generates ultra-accurate colors on the lights. Featuring a 3-side segmented RGBIC light strip for easy mounting on the back of TV, the HDMI sync box offers two different sizes, fitting TV’s from 55” to 65”, and from 75” to 85”.

The clean setup and personalized experience make the WiZ Sync Box perfect for every style and TV watching occasion. With the 4 preset sync modes - Cinematic, Vibrant, Relaxation, Rhythmic and customizable brightness, color saturation and intensity, users can set lights to closely follow all the colors with drastic brightness change or to gradually transition while matching colors to the dominant hue on the screen. The HDMI Sync Box works with any WiZ color-capable light that supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Users can link as many lights to the Sync Box as they like (they need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network) and make them sync with TV simultaneously. The Sync Box also has a built-in microphone that can capture audio playing from any source and make lights change colors and brightness with the music. Control is simple via the WiZ app, voice (with Google or Alexa) or the WiZ remote control. Users can also set the auto-switching feature in the app so their TV sync lights will turn on and start syncing automatically whenever the HDMI media source provides a signal.

The new offerings include SpaceSense™, a motion detection technology for your lighting system that doesn’t require any sensor to be installed. The new WiZ app V2 and the SpaceSense™ feature are available now.

Lights that work like magic​

The SpaceSense™ feature is a never-seen-before innovation in the consumer lighting industry developed by WiZ. It uses Wi-Fi signals that are already present in the room to detect motion – without the need of dedicated sensors and batteries. Wi-Fi signals are slightly disturbed when people move around in a room, like a ripple in a swimming pool. By measuring the small deviations in signal strength caused by those disturbances, the WiZ lights can determine if there is an object moving in the room.

The detection is omnidirectional and doesn't require line of sight during installation, like in the case for a traditional motion sensor. The sensitivity of the system can be adjusted, for example, to prevent your pets from turning the lights on and off while running in and out of the room. You simply install at least two lights per room and connect them with the WiZ app V2. The new feature is completely opt-in so all WiZ users can decide themselves whether they would like to make use of it or not.

For many users the need for extra hardware to enable motion detection in their system felt complex, expensive and cumbersome. Now, for the first time ever, SpaceSense™ takes those hurdles away, opening up automations and other smart lighting advanced benefits to everyone.

Make WiZ lights dance to your music​

Users can now set their Connected by WiZ lights to change brightness and color with the rhythm of the music. The new Music Sync feature uses the microphone on the users phone or tablet to detect music and instruct lights to flash, brighten, and change color in sync with the rhythm. Users can select from the 9 pre-designed color palettes in the WiZ app and make their lights cycle through the colors. Whether they are having a party with friends or enjoying a relaxing evening alone, users can switch on their WiZ lights and fill any room with dynamic light effects that groove along to their favorite song. Users can add as many lights to the Music Sync area as they wish as long as they are all connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

LED strips to transform your home​

The new WiZ LED strips, available in lengths from 4 to 30 meters allow users to wrap an entire room in lights. All the strips can be cut for different installation requirements, in areas such as over a kitchen counter, in a dressing room or bathroom. With millions of colors, static and dynamic light modes, the strips instantly increase the ambiance of any area – whether for daily illumination and mood lighting, or for a special event. Additionally for LED strips with RGBIC design, multiple colors can display at one time alongside the strip and run dynamic effects like color chasing. This product will be the perfect companion for decorating at home and setting the right tone for parties.

The new LED Neon Flex RGBIC strips, available in 5 and 10 meters are designed to mimic the look of traditional neon lighting, but are more energy-efficient, durable and flexible. The Neon Flex strip’s gradient color and dynamic effect enables the users creative self to design some beautiful light décor for their home, any shape can be created on the wall of choice.

The LED strips can not only be controlled via app or voice, but also with WiZ control accessories like the Smart Button and the new Smart Dial Switch. Even a toddler or guest can easily change the light colors with the WiZ accessories without needing to get hold of the users smartphone. Users can schedule the LED strips to turn on and off at specific times, or activate the WiZ exclusive SpaceSenseTM feature that enables the lights to be triggered by movement. The new Smart Fairy Light is the ultimate decor for any indoor and outdoor areas. The 20-meter long Fairy light contains 160 mini LED bulbs and creates sparkling vivid color with gradient transition. It is a perfect addition to a kids room, balcony or Christmas tree for everyday decor or festive moment. Users can select from more than 30 preset static and dynamic light modes in the WiZ app, like Fireplace, Snowy Sky and Party, to make their home sparkle cozy and magical colors to fit each season.

Enjoying the convenience of a smart home while keeping a familiar way to control the lights is now possible with the Smart Dial Switch. The Smart Dial Switch comes with a rotary button. Users can dim the lights just by turning the button and enjoy the same smooth dimming experience as with a classic dimmer on the wall. Users can also tap on the square panel to trigger four light scenes they have saved in the WiZ app. It is rechargeable with a USB cable so users can easily stick it on the wall or just place it on a table. Using the power of light and motion detection to deter intruders

WiZ integrates home monitoring features in its smart lighting system, taking advantage of the fact that lights are found throughout the home and can be one of the most effective tools to discourage potential intruders. With a seamless user experience in mind, the WiZ app is optimized with intuitive features, such as customizable monitoring routines, allowing users to both control their lighting and monitor their home with a single tap in the app. They simply click on their desired routine to let the WiZ system know they are going away and activate a set of lighting behaviors to help secure their home.

The WiZ app can now also notify users of unexpected activity in their home, allowing them to take immediate action. With SpaceSense motion detection technology, every compatible WiZ light is a motion sensor that detects movement in the coverage area. The award-winning technology makes the WiZ smart ecosystem one of the most comprehensive, and when combined with the new WiZ indoor camera, the system provides full coverage for the entire home. Consumers can activate WiZ monitoring for the entire home or for certain areas only and can quickly turn it off when necessary.

WiZ lights can also be automated with presence simulation: they will turn on and off automatically to simulate the presence of somebody at home. Users can decide how the lights will react when motion is detected: turn on to full brightness, flash, or display vibrant colors, for example.

WiZ indoor camera to keep an eye on users’ homes

An important element of the new home monitoring solution is the WiZ indoor camera. It will allow consumers to control and see what’s always happening at home and will also notify them of any suspicious movement or sound. As soon as users receive a notification, they can open the WiZ app to get a live view of what’s going on.

The WiZ indoor camera is equipped with night vision, which is automatically enabled when the light level is low enough, using infrared to light up the space and ensure clear visibility. The image-based motion detection can also pick up on any sudden loud noises, such as the breaking of windows or fire/smoke alarms, and send notifications. Additional features include two-way audio feature, wide 120 degree viewing angle, full HD, and an SD card slot.

Those new to the WiZ ecosystem can begin their home monitoring journey with the home monitoring starter kit, composed of the new WiZ indoor camera and WiZ lights. WiZ will provide an optional subscription service to unlock additional features, like the option of storing media from the WiZ indoor camera in the cloud for up to 30 days, defining motion activity zones and/or privacy zones in selected areas, or starting a manual recording while the WiZ camera is streaming.
