Starting 1 September, Roberto Quintero will assume the role of CEO of Lojer Oy and its subsidiary, Merivaara Oy. Quintero, the sixth CEO in Lojer’s 106-year history, has worked actively in Finnish and international business for almost three decades. Former CEO Ville Laine will continue as Lojer’s owner and member of the Board of Directors.

Over the past two decades at Lojer, Ville Laine has gained a great deal of knowledge about responsibility and business development.

“I feel that now is a good time to move to the next stage in my career and ensure Lojer’s growth and renewal through my role change. At the same time, this is a great opportunity to bring new energy and fresh perspectives to our team,” says Laine.

“Roberto’s diverse experience in international commercial business development in different industries and markets made a real impression on us. We were looking for a CEO who inspires bold thinking and initiative across all levels of the organisation, and Roberto proved to be an excellent match.”

Personnel and customers first​

Roberto Quintero joins Lojer from Bronto Skylift Oy Ab, where he was Commercial VP for eight years. Quintero says he finds the opportunity to work with hospital and medical furniture exciting.

Quintero notes that the customer is always at the heart of all business.

Our core business is very strong, we know the industry well, and we have strong in-house technological expertise.
