The Streamlight Survivor® X is a safety-rated, intrinsically safe right-angle flashlight designed for firefighters and professionals working in hazardous environments. Its compact, low-profile bezel minimizes interference with gear and reduces snag hazards, while its rugged construction and user-friendly design make it a reliable tool in demanding situations. Featuring a translucent push-button switch with an integrated LED battery status indicator, it allows for easy operation with gloved hands and offers three lighting modes: high, low, and emergency flash.
This flashlight is available in both rechargeable and alkaline battery models. The rechargeable version delivers up to 250 lumens and a beam distance of 447 meters, running for 3.75 hours on high and 15 hours on low. The flash mode provides signaling capability for up to 8 hours. The alkaline model offers similar light output and performance, with a longer runtime of 5 hours on high. The light uses a 2.6Ah Li-Ion battery pack that can be recharged up to 1,000 times, and the updated charge cradle allows for easy one-handed removal. It also supports three AA alkaline batteries or an optional SL-B26® USB-rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, providing users with a flexible multi-fuel power option.
Engineered for durability, the Survivor® X features a housing, base, and battery casing made from high-impact, super-tough nylon, with a unbreakable polycarbonate lens coated in silicone for added scratch resistance. The flashlight is IP67-rated, dust-tight, waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, and tested for 2-meter impact resistance. The spring-loaded clip with a built-in D-ring ensures secure attachment to gear and maintains forward-facing orientation for hands-free use.
Optimized electronics ensure consistent light output, and the custom Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic provides a narrow, intense beam with effective peripheral illumination. Optional Smoke Cutter® technology allows users to customize the beam pattern with insertable black or amber plugs—reducing peripheral light for better smoke penetration or minimizing eye fatigue, respectively. With high-lumen output, long runtime, durable construction, and safety certifications, the Streamlight Survivor® X is built to perform under the most challenging conditions.
