Its discreet height allows the full view of movement and expression, enabling audiences to appreciate every toe tap and gesture. A self-contained cable tray hides and secures wiring, eliminating tripping hazards and clutter. The intelligent interlocking design of the fixtures—including customizable corner angles—ensures uninterrupted spacing of LEDs across long runs, maintaining a uniform wash along stages or runways.
To adapt to various setups, FOOTSIE comes in two formats. The FOOTSIE1™ is a compact 600 mm unit with two independently controlled zones, while the extended FOOTSIE2™ measures 1,200 mm and features four control zones. Both models support seamless integration and nuanced control over output and color.
Designed with detail and discretion in mind, the patented SPREAD™ (Shield Protection, Reflection Elimination, Diffusion) system allows the shield to be stored inside the housing or deployed as needed. This minimizes unwanted glare for audiences while offering beam-shaping options through optional medium and wide diffusion filters. The entire fixture is crafted for functionality and serviceability—easy top and bottom access panels allow quick maintenance, while strategically placed cable ports support audio or monitor feed integration.
FOOTSIE is also technologically advanced. It includes NFC (Near Field Communication), allowing setup and diagnostics through the Robe Com app even without powering on the unit. The innovative BluMark™ feature offers low-level blue LEDs to safely mark stage edges, essential during blackouts without disrupting the show’s lighting mood. Additionally, PIP™ (Performer Indication Points) provides RGB LED markers spaced every 10 cm, giving performers discreet reference points for accurate positioning during cues.

Inside, FOOTSIE houses 24 high-power single-chip LEDs, delivering outputs up to 3,620 lumens (tuneable white model) and supporting a 55° x 50° asymmetrical beam field for optimal on-stage coverage. Color flexibility spans RGBW/CMY mixing, DataSwatch™ access to 237 pre-programmed filters, variable CCT, and tungsten emulation effects with red shift.
All this comes in a robust yet compact body, protected by an IP65-rated enclosure, with power and data handled via PowerCON TRUE1 and 5-pin XLR connectors.
