The SAF1 RGBW architectural LED floodlight is a versatile luminaire designed for accent, landscape, and façade lighting applications, joining both the Accent Landscape luminaire family and the SAF Architectural Floodlight Family. Engineered for outdoor use, this IP66-rated fixture is suitable for illuminating landscapes, trees, columns, monuments, and architectural details with high precision and dynamic color performance. The SAF1 provides a range of spot, accent, landscape, and flood beam angles, spanning from 10° to 70°, 100°, as well as elliptical distributions of 15°x60° and 30°x60°, allowing designers to tailor the light precisely to each surface and architectural element.

The light source utilizes high-performance RGBW LEDs, delivering up to 340 lumens with a color rendering index (CRI) of 80. High-output quad chip technology ensures exceptional color mixing under each optic, avoiding striations and color separation even when wall grazing or washing, and supports RGBW3 and RGBW4 configurations. The SAF1 maintains high color performance across all channels, providing smooth and uniform color for dynamic architectural effects. White light options are also available in 30K and 40K color temperatures, complementing its saturated color capabilities.

Lighting control is facilitated through DMX with RDM options, allowing precise manipulation of color and intensity for complex architectural lighting schemes. The integral MVOLT (120-277V, 50/60Hz) Class 2 LED power supply supports 6 and 9-watt configurations, dimming control, and ensures long-term reliability with an L83 lifetime of ≥100,000 hours at 25°C. Electrical performance includes a power factor greater than 90%, total harmonic distortion below 20%, and 6KV surge protection meeting minimum Category C low operation standards per ANSI/IEEE C62.41.2, providing durability and stability in demanding installations.

The SAF1 floodlight incorporates Taper-Lock knuckle technology for full aiming integrity, combined with a rugged aluminum knuckle and stainless steel locking hardware. This knuckle allows infinite aiming adjustment and supports a variety of mounting applications, including ground, wall, pole, stanchion, and tree installations. Each knuckle-mounted luminaire comes with 18 inches of power and control leads (18 gauge for power, 22 gauge for control), and the knuckle mounts to a 7/8” through-hole using a 1/2” NPSM interface, providing flexibility for diverse architectural setups.

Optical components include a slightly convex watershed lens molded from heat-strengthened borosilicate glass, offering superior clarity, impact resistance, and effective water runoff to prevent staining. The SAF1 supports flood, medium flood, narrow flood, narrow spot, very wide flood, and wide flood light distributions, providing adaptability for accenting architectural elements or illuminating expansive landscapes. Beam angles include 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°, 50°, 70°, 100°, and elliptical 15Vx60H and 30Vx60H options, allowing precise control over light coverage.

Durability and finishing are integral to the SAF1 design. Exterior parts are protected by a zinc-infused TGIC thermoset powder coat finish, applied through a tightly controlled multi-stage process to a minimum thickness of 3 mils. This ensures superior resistance to corrosion, weathering, and extreme climates without cracking or peeling. The fixture also achieves a 3G vibration rating per ANSI C136.31, making it suitable for high-stress outdoor environments.

The SAF1 RGBW architectural LED floodlight qualifies as a domestic end product under the Buy American Act (BAA) and is recognized as manufactured in the United States under DOT Buy America regulations. Additionally, it meets the definitions of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), ensuring compliance with federal procurement standards while maintaining high-quality performance and long-term reliability for architectural and landscape lighting projects.
