At its core, the Smart BatHEX is equipped with 4x12W RGBWAP LEDs, offering full-color mixing with rich color rendering and an impressive luminous output of 1,007 lumens. With a beam angle of 23° and optional interchangeable optics (25° and 45°), the fixture allows for versatile beam shaping. The color engine includes RGBWAP (Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, and Pastel) LED technology, enabling a broad spectrum of saturated hues and calibrated white presets from 3,200 K to 10,000 K. Virtual color wheels and built-in macros further expand the creative options.
Users can select between static, manual, auto, and sound-active modes for dynamic lighting effects, all easily controllable via proprietary wireless DMX, the SmartColors app for iOS and Android, or an IR remote. Control options include DMX512 with 6, 8, or 12-channel modes, as well as Master/Slave configurations for synchronized operation. The onboard LED display provides an intuitive interface for setup and adjustments. Firmware upgrades are supported via DMX using the UPBOXPRO/UPBOX1 (not included).
Designed for reliability and mobility, the Smart BatHEX features a sturdy die-cast aluminum body in black or white finish, and includes an adjustable foot support allowing up to 20° tilt for directional flexibility. It operates silently with passive cooling—ideal for noise-sensitive environments like studios or broadcast sets.
Power is provided by a 24V lithium battery offering up to 12 hours of runtime in color change mode and up to 8 hours at full intensity. Recharge time is a maximum of 5 hours, with onboard LED indicators displaying battery status. The fixture supports both IEC IN/OUT for mains power and XLR 3-pin IN/OUT for signal connections.
