The Smart Bat is a wireless LED lighting fixture designed to redefine expectations for battery-operated lights. This fixture is powered by four 8W RGBW LEDs, producing a luminous flux of 1,354 lumens and 730 lux at 5 meters. Its primary beam angle is 14.9°, with optional 25° and 45° optics for added versatility. The RGBW color system allows for full-color mixing, preset whites ranging from 3,200K to 10,000K, and access to a virtual color wheel with built-in macros. Whether using static colors, manual settings, or automated programs with adjustable speeds, the Smart Bat provides dynamic and adaptable lighting effects.
Control options are equally flexible. The Smart Bat supports DMX512 via wired or wireless protocols, including a proprietary wireless system compatible with WIFIBOX and WDBOX, and it can also be controlled using the SmartColors app (iOS and Android) or an infrared remote. An LED display simplifies navigation, while DMX-based firmware upgrades ensure the fixture stays current. The device supports 4, 6, or 10 DMX channels and offers master/slave functionality for synchronized lighting effects.
The fixture includes a 24V lithium battery offering up to 12 hours of runtime in color-changing mode and 8 hours at full intensity. Recharge time is approximately 5 hours via a standard power cable, and the LED battery status indicator provides real-time monitoring. Power and signal connections are handled through IEC IN/OUT and 3-pin XLR connectors, respectively.
Mechanically, the Smart Bat features an adjustable foot support that allows up to 20° tilt regulation for optimal beam positioning. With passive cooling and a fan-free design, it operates silently—making it suitable for sound-sensitive environments. Additional features include four selectable dimming curves, flicker-free LED control, and an electronic strobe function (1–25 Hz). Its IP33 rating makes it appropriate for indoor use, and a built-in M12 threaded insert allows for secure mounting with clamps.
