Powered by a 50W RGB LED source, the Ruby FCX delivers full color mixing, enhancing the versatility of your lighting setup. The fixture includes all the features expected from a beam effect moving light, such as fixed gobos, an 8-facet circular prism, a 6-facet linear prism, frost, and infinite pan and tilt rotation. This combination of features makes it ideal for creating dynamic aerial effects and stunning light displays.
With its 50W RGB LED source, the Ruby FCX achieves impressive luminous intensity, reaching 141,929 lux at 3 meters and 51,094 lux at 5 meters. This makes it suitable for various applications, from smaller venues to larger stages. The fixture’s optical system includes a high-quality glass lens with a 116mm diameter and a motorized focus for precise beam control. Its beam angle is a sharp 2°, ensuring tight, focused light output, while the motorized focus adds flexibility for smooth transitions between different effects.
The Ruby FCX offers a wide range of color control options. With RGB/FC color mixing, users can create an array of colors, while the CCT control allows for white light adjustments between 2,000K and 8,000K. A virtual color wheel provides access to several pre-built color macros, which can be adjusted in speed for various dynamic effects. Additionally, the fixture features 17 fixed gobos, along with the ability to soften the beam edge using its frost unit. The rotating prisms—8-facet circular and 6-facet linear—can be indexed and rotated bi-directionally, adding more possibilities for creative light effects.
For movement, the Ruby FCX boasts continuous 360° pan and 265° tilt rotation. Its 16-bit pan and tilt resolution ensures precise and smooth movement, while automatic repositioning corrects any accidental shifts. The sturdy die-cast aluminum body is built for durability, and its black color blends seamlessly into any stage or event setup. It also features wireless control through W-DMX, and remote monitoring and settings are available via RDM.
The Ruby FCX can be controlled using DMX512, Art-Net, and Wireless DMX, offering flexibility in various control environments. It supports 18, 20, 22, or 23 DMX channels, depending on the complexity of the desired effects. The fixture includes an LCD high-resolution color display for easy navigation and setup. Additionally, its firmware can be updated via DMX with UPBOXPRO/UPBOX2, ensuring the fixture remains up-to-date with the latest features.
Operating on 100-240V, the Ruby FCX consumes a maximum of 122W and has a standby power consumption of just 56.5W. The fixture’s cooling system ensures active, silent operation, making it suitable for both quiet environments and larger events. It also features IP20 protection, meaning it's suitable for indoor use in dry environments. With quick-lock omega brackets for suspension and fixing, the Ruby FCX can be mounted in any position, allowing for flexible placement and installation.
