The Astra Beam260IP is a compact, high-performance IP65 beam moving head designed for both outdoor and indoor applications. Powered by a robust 260W Osram SIRIUS HRI PRO long-life arc lamp, it delivers a razor-sharp, high-intensity beam with an impressive output of 1,984,000 lux at 5 meters. Its 6,000-hour lamp life and sealed IP65-rated housing significantly reduce maintenance needs and operational costs, making it an efficient and durable solution for touring, festivals, installations, and event productions.
This fixture features a narrow 2° beam angle and a large 140mm HD anti-reflection lens with achromatic coating to ensure crisp optics and maximum beam clarity. Motorized focus further enhances its flexibility across different throw distances and stage environments. Despite its weatherproof build, the Astra Beam260IP remains compact and lightweight, making it a versatile choice even for indoor venues seeking professional beam performance.
The Astra Beam260IP offers a full suite of dynamic effects including 15 fixed gobos, a color wheel with 10 filters, and dual overlapping prisms—an 8-facet circular and a 6-facet linear prism—both with bi-directional rotation and indexing for stunning aerial visuals. A linear frost filter from 0 to 100% adds further creative flexibility.
Advanced control options include DMX512, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, and integrated W-DMX wireless technology. The fixture supports 16-bit pan and tilt resolution, automatic repositioning, and is managed via a high-resolution LCD display with autoflip. Firmware updates can be performed via menu or USB-DMX interface (sold separately).
Electrically, the unit operates on 100–240V at 50/60Hz and draws a maximum of 345W, with a power factor of 0.96. It supports daisy-chaining up to 7 units on a 230V line. Seetronic XLR 5-pin and locking power connections ensure secure and reliable signal and power transmission. Designed with touring efficiency in mind, the Astra Beam260IP includes quick-lock Omega bracket compatibility and offers forced-air cooling to ensure optimal performance across a wide temperature range from -20°C to +45°C.
