The Tierra IGF6 Quad Tech RGBW outdoor LED in-ground light is an architectural in-grade luminaire created for applications that demand strong visual impact, dependable long-term durability, and precise lighting control. With a 6.38-inch diameter and a minimalist appearance, the fixture integrates discreetly into interior or exterior environments while providing powerful, color-rich illumination for columns, trees, façades, and unique architectural features. Its compact scale supports uplighting needs where a small footprint is essential, and its modular construction ensures easy installation as well as future driver or light-source updates as technology advances.

At the core of the IGF6 is Quad Tech RGBW color technology, enabling soft pastels and saturated hues without striations or color separation, particularly in wall grazing or wall washing applications. The RGBW3, RGBW4, and RGBA options provide multiple color temperature choices, enhanced by a light engine that utilizes quad-chip LEDs for exceptional color blending beneath each optic. Paired with precision optics and light-shaping films, the system offers optimal beam control through eight distinct distributions, including 7°, 15°, 30°, 60°, 90°, Wall Wash, 30°×70°, and 70°×30°, delivering up to 1,100 lumens with a maximum CBCP of 3,950. Additional mechanical tilt options of 0°, 5°, or 10° allow further customization of beam direction to suit detailed design requirements.

The luminaire incorporates Hydrel’s patented Flow-Thru technology, a modular approach that isolates the LED module and driver module within independent, encapsulated housings. This design provides superior water ingress protection for use in the most severe direct-burial conditions and supports years of trouble-free operation. The LED module itself uses a highly corrosion-resistant die-cast brass housing that performs dual roles in water protection and thermal management, while moisture-blocking fittings and silicone seals reinforce long-term reliability. The internal rough-in section is built from UV-stabilized, impact- and corrosion-resistant polymer with an integral junction box to streamline installation. A tempered borosilicate glass lens enhances durability, and the finishing section offers multiple faceplate options in aluminum, stainless steel, or brass, including oversized trims suitable for tile or specialty surface materials. Five door trims are available in a range of finishes, including versions with a zinc undercoat for additional resilience.

Lighting control is achieved through the DMX512 protocol, supporting as many as 44 frames per second with logarithmic power across all channels for refined color and intensity adjustments. The fixture is compatible with Easyl and Fresco controllers from Acuity, which are ordered separately. The IGF6 is rated IP68, cCSAus listed, and suitable for wet locations. It meets laboratory test requirements under UL-1598 and UL-8750 and supports MVOLT 120–277 V electrical input at 50/60 Hz with a fixture wattage of 24.5 watts. Available color finishes include Beige, Black, Bronze, Green, Silver, and White. The product also qualifies under the Buy American Act, DOT Buy America, and Build America Buy America standards as a U.S.-manufactured solution.
