The SAF RGBW architectural LED floodlight delivers high-output performance color mixing in a compact housing that reduces the number of luminaires needed across demanding exterior applications. Its RGBW source uses Quad Tech to create uniform, high-output color mixing under each individual optic, eliminating striations and color separation during wall grazing or washing. White color temperatures are available in 3000K and 4000K for projects requiring both dynamic color and consistent static white. Output reaches 2,500 lumens in the SAF14 RGBW configuration, while the broader line delivers 3,100 lumens or 6,000 lumens depending on wattage. The fixture is wet-location rated, with an IP68 construction and an IK10 option for high-impact protection. A minimalist industrial aesthetic with clean lines, a slightly convex watershed lens to prevent water buildup, and a flow-thru thermal design using separate optical and driver chambers contributes to long-term optical clarity and LED performance.

Lighting control is centered around DMX and RDM, enabling real-time color control and system-level management in entertainment environments, architectural façades, hotel lobbies, reception areas, and other locations requiring dynamic RGBW effects. The fixture’s compatibility with DMX512 allows integration with controllers, repeaters, and routing devices that maintain high-speed data flow across large lighting networks, supporting sophisticated color-changing installations. Its programmable DMX operation further contributes to nuanced lighting behaviors across building exteriors, public spaces, landscape accents, and performance-oriented applications.

The optical system supports an extensive range of beam spreads, including 10°, 15°, 20°, 30°, 40°, 50°, 70°, 100°, and multiple vertical-by-horizontal patterns such as 15°V x 60°H, 30°V x 60°H, 60°V x 15°H, and 60°V x 30°H. These distributions allow precise control for spotlighting, wall grazing, façade illumination, narrow accenting, wide flooding, or very wide wash effects. Molded heat-strengthened borosilicate glass provides superior clarity and durability across all distributions, and glare control is supported through external accessories such as full and half glare shields.

Construction is based on die cast copper-free aluminum (A360) for both housing and doors, providing strength, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance. All exterior components receive a zinc-infused durable TGIC thermoset powder coat finish applied through a multi-stage process that maintains a minimum 3-mil thickness to withstand extreme climates, preventing cracking or peeling. The optical and driver compartments are thermally isolated to preserve electronic driver longevity. The fixture includes stainless steel locking hardware and the Taper-Lock system, which combines a rugged knuckle and yoke with infinite aiming adjustment for dependable positional integrity even in challenging environments.

Mounting flexibility includes ground, wall, pole, and stanchion accessories. Knuckle-mounted luminaires include 18-inch leads for power and control, while yoke-mounted models are supplied with 10–50 feet of 18-gauge, 6-conductor ST cord in 5-foot increments for extended reach in architectural installations. The adjustable knuckle uses a 1/2-inch NPT connection, and the yoke mount incorporates multiple through-holes for secure attachment. An optional impact-resistant rock guard further protects the optical assembly.

Electrical performance includes MVOLT 120–277V operation, LED Class 2 power supplies, wattages of 65, 86, or 94 watts, a lifetime of L83 at or above 100,000 hours at 25°C, power factor above 90%, THD below 20%, and optional 6 kV surge protection meeting Category C low operation per ANSI/IEEE C62.41.2. The luminaire is cCSAus and NOM listed and qualifies under BAA and BABA requirements as a U.S.-manufactured product.
