Wander is an exterior pedestal-mount pathway and step light within a broad family of LED bollard luminaires that support pedestal, semi-recessed, and surface mounting to create visual continuity across pathways, steps, and wall-adjacent areas. The pedestal option provides two fixture heights with single- or dual-head configurations, enabling cohesive illumination themes across a range of pedestrian environments. With the 38-inch H38 pedestal height, the system delivers excellent uniformity and supports egress lighting requirements with fixture spacing up to 25 feet on center, making it suitable for continuous pathway guidance and architectural circulation zones.
The luminaire incorporates three precision acrylic optics engineered in tailored distributions that include Long Forward Throw, Medium Forward Throw, Short Forward Throw, Medium Lateral Throw, and Wide Lateral Throw, allowing controlled light placement for both pathway emphasis and step definition. Output reaches up to 1500 delivered lumens in the single-head version, with available light source packages of 1150 or 1750 lumens depending on the selected configuration. Static white in 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K, and 4000 K, as well as Amber Limited Wavelength at 590 nm and monochromatic Blue, Green, and Red, support both visual comfort and site-specific aesthetic requirements. A 90 CRI option maintains strong color rendering for pedestrian comfort and architectural materials.
Construction centers on a sturdy die-cast body with an IK10 impact rating and a sealed, integral driver module, complemented by Hydrel’s exclusive Flow-Thru technology with a modular internal design that enhances thermal management and long-term reliability. The luminaire also maintains a 3G vibration rating per ANSI C136.31, ensuring durability in high-traffic or vibration-prone areas. Electrical options cover 120 V and 120–277 V operation, with fixture wattages of 13.2, 22, 26.4, or 44 watts depending on head count and output selection.
Lighting control is supported through 0-10V dimming or Reverse Phase protocols, enabling precise output adjustment for pedestrian comfort, energy management, and architectural integration. As a Wet Location, cCSAus-listed product, it carries an IP67 rating for environmental protection. It is ADA compliant and qualifies as a DarkSky Approved Pedestrian Comfort Luminaire when installed with the LED surface mounted below 1.2 meters (4 feet) in a downward orientation. A BUG U0 rating reinforces its ability to limit uplight and minimize glare in sensitive outdoor environments.
Wander is available in two sizes and two heights with single-sided or double-sided head options, allowing designers to unify pathway, step, and perimeter lighting across a site. Anchor-based mounting provides stable installation on concrete or similar hardscape substrates. A full range of colors and finishes—including Black, Bronze, Silver, and White—supports integration with architectural palettes and landscape materials.
