The Alder architectural landscape accent light is built for a wide range of exterior applications, supporting ground, wall, tree, sign and architectural accents in wet locations. As part of the Accent Landscape family, it delivers higher lumen outputs, broader distribution options, additional CCT choices and an integral driver, creating a powerful accent light suitable for both 12V and 120V installations. The fixture produces 1,100 delivered lumens with easily updated optics in the field, and supports 650 LM, 750 LM and 1000 LM outputs depending on configuration. It is available in 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K, 4000 K and 5000 K color temperatures with 65 or 80 CRI, and also offers a high color rendering 90CRI LED light engine option for applications requiring enhanced visual accuracy.
A broad range of lighting control options enhances its versatility. At 120V, the integral driver enables dimming through standard Triac dimmers, while 12V versions support dimming using standard MLV dimmers paired with a magnetic transformer. The LED light source uses proprietary high output LED’s with near constant light output when supplied with 11VAC–14VAC, ensuring reliable performance despite voltage drop. All LEDs are maintained within 3 MacAdam ellipses to preserve uniformity. This flexibility in control makes the Alder suitable for landscape accents, architectural highlighting, wayfinding cues, façade enhancement and signage visibility in both residential and commercial outdoor settings.
Optical performance is supported by nine distribution options, listed as Flood, Medium Flood, Narrow Flood, Spot and Wide Flood, as well as 15DEG through 55DEG distributions for precise beam shaping. Lens options include FLC heat-strengthened borosilicate glass for superior clarity and strength, and WSL heat-strengthened borosilicate glass that sits flush with the door to allow water to shed naturally from the fixture. Any combination of up to two lens accessories, color filters or shielding components can be installed under any cap style using a removable stainless steel clip ring, supporting tailored visual effects for trees, walls, signage, landscape features and architectural elements.
Construction quality centers on durability and field reliability. The body, caps and knuckle are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a super durable polyester TGIC powder coat finish, offered in Black, Bronze, Gray, Green, Silver and White. An optional zinc undercoat is available for harsh environments. The tapered “Sure Lock” knuckle seat provides infinite aiming capability and exceptional locking stability, while the knuckle’s 1/2" NPSM mount supports installation through a 7/8" thru hole. The KM option allows up to 180° tilt, and the 350R option enables up to 180° tilt and 350° rotation, accompanied by 48" of 18AWG connection wire. Voltage options include 12 Volt AC and 120 Volt AC, with an integral driver for 120V installations and remote transformer use for 12V systems.
The Alder accent light carries cCSAus listings for wet locations with testing to UL Standards UL-1598, UL-8750 and UL-1838. It is offered as a domestic end product compliant with BAA requirements under FAR and DFARS, qualifies as manufactured in the United States under DOT Buy America regulations, and meets BABA criteria for production in the United States under the Build America, Buy America Act.
